Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon worked very well together and it is nice to know that they really did like each other after all. I must admit though, I was not losing sleep over my concerns about their friendship.
Joking aside (and ignoring the fact that I wonder why pieces such as this are classed as ‘news’) it lays to rest a lot of rumours that they really didn’t like one another.
The Beatles were a great band who wrote and performed some brilliant songs. At the time they were huge and today they fit into the ‘legendary’ bracket of performers.
Over the years their influence has been astounding. Many of our modern groups would not exist had it not been for the effect that The Beatles had on them.
The death of John Lennon was a terrible loss that was felt by thousands of people both young and old all across the universe.
